Elevenplus (primary)
primary level: £20 per hourI offer tuition in English, Maths and Verbal Reasoning for the 11+ Common Entrance Exam.
I use the Bond Scheme of assessment, practice and test papers, alongside other relevant 11+ resources.
As every child is different I tailor my lessons to suit their individual needs, promoting confidence and self esteem throughout the lesson. I encourage my pupils to tackle a given task by setting challenging but achievable targets and by a “can do” approach.
From past experience I find that children work better away from their own environment and with no family distractions so I do prefer to teach at my own house, however, I do also offer lessons in the child’s own home.
Availability: Monday - Friday 3.30pm - 7pm
Saturday and Sunday 10am - 4pm
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: I have had 18 years experience in education and have been tutoring privately since 2007.
Qualifications: I am a qualified primary teacher. I have an Open University B.A (Hons) degree and a Graduate Teacher Programme qualification.
