I am an English, Maths, History and Science tutor who specialises in teaching children at both Primary School and GCSE level. I am currently a Year 13 Student studying at the Latymer School, Edmonton and I believe that my age, adaptability and having undertaken GCSEs and AS-levels not too long ago helps me relate to younger students and understand where they may be having difficulties.

Tutoring Approach: My approach to teaching is student-centred. I believe that each student has a unique way of learning and understanding. As a tutor, I try to relate to the student and see through their eyes what they might find complicated. I cover the individual topic with the student, placing emphasis on the problem areas and then ask them to explain back to me what I taught them. I then use exercises, essays and past papers are then necessary to test the student’s knowledge and to familiarise them with the format of each exam. The whole process is very interactive and I encourage students to stop me if clarification is needed and try to get them talking about the subject more comfortably.

Qualifications: Studied at The Latymer School, Haselbury Road, Edmonton, London N9 9TN from 2005 to present.

From 2007 to 2010, I studied nine GCSE subjects and I achieved six A-star Grades in Business Studies, Core Science, English Language, English Literature, History and Mathematics and three A Grades in Additional Science, Drama and French respectively.

From 2010 to 2011, I studied four AS-level subjects and I achieved two A grades in English Literature and History and two B grades in Economics and Mathematics respectively.

I am currently studying the following A2 subjects and predicted to attain the following grades:
