Lesson Information: Reading and Talking about Poetry.
Suitable for students from 16 upwards, but this is a majority-adult class. Looking at a different group of writers each month we encounter the work of poets and of people who write about poems. Yoga meets reading and streeetch. And relax.
I have a Ph.D. in English from Cambridge (but I`m nice and not at all scary), and I started out teaching English to university students. Since then I`ve really enjoyed teaching English and Drama to school students in time off from my career as a theatre director, as well as teaching English to foreign students (I`m CELTA qualified). So let`s see how I can help! I`ve taught quite young children and would be very happy doing exam preparation, essay or conversation practice. Whatever you think you need to improve your confidence and skills.
Sadly I am not able to write university or coursework essays FOR you! People do ask me to do this now and again and while I like to help in any way I can, writing other people`s essays is fraud! I`m always very happy to offer sessions on study skills though and of course I can give a huge amount of help making what you`ve written yourself amazing. Often it only needs that one great idea to make the words flow.
