I'm a Masters Graduate in History who also has a Graduate Diploma in Law. I am also able to teach English literature up to A-Level standard. I am a very friendly, patient, determined tutor who will do his utmost to ensure that the student is able to achieve their goals. I am a well-balanced individual who, aside from his work is able to enjoy a variety of activities, including chess, golf, cricket and the theatre.

I like to start with a free initial consultation with the student, asking them to outline their aims and objectives, and how they would like to set about achieving those aims. I will have already familiarised myself with the relevant syllabus beforehand, as well as the marking criteria. The subsequent sessions will be conducted in a manner that encourages the student to think for him or herself, and to guide them through the relevant problems faced in such a manner that they will ultimately be able to devise the best solution for themselves. I am also very keen on students practicing exam-type questions, so that they will be familiar, and ultimately undeterred by the pressures of the exam in advance.

Availability: All evenings and weekends - this covers online tutoring as well.
