I am a UK qualified primary school teacher with an undergraduate degree in chemistry and a doctorate in medical molecular genetics. I am therefore able to offer tuition to suit all age ranges and abilities. Helping children feel confident in their own abilities is my aim.
It is important to me that students enjoy their learning experiences. Therefore I use hands-on practical approaches where possible and take the interests of students into account during the sessions. I further believe it is important to value the strengths and learning style of each student whilst recognising their needs.

Experience: I have been working with all year groups in Key Stage 2 and have taught my children to become bilingual in English and Dutch. I am enthusiastic about maths and word and number puzzles in general and feel confident that this will allow me to support students preparing for their eleven plus exams.
