I specialise in tutoring AS and A2 Politics, History and Psychology – the subjects which fascinate me and which I study for my own pleasure.

At Trinity College, University of Cambridge, I studied Social and Political Sciences and graduated in 2001 with a 2.1. While at Cambridge I edited Varsity, the student university newspaper. Recently I completed a second degree in Psychology. Currently I am at Manchester Business School, studying the MSc in Organisation Psychology.

My own love of learning is matched by both a passion for sharing knowledge and great curiosity in the world. After Cambridge I completed the English as a foreign language qualification, the Trinity CertTESOL (Distinction), in Pontevedra, Spain. Subsequently I taught students of all abilities in Italy, Russia and at UK summer schools, including extensive one-to-one tuition.

Before returning to teaching and studying, I worked for eight years as business journalist and PR director specialising in international strategic communications in the former Soviet Union.

I am based in the centre of Manchester, and am frequently in the Altrincham area.

Availability: late afternoons/early evening & weekends

Experience: Since autumn 2011 I have tutored A Level Politics, History, Psychology and Business Studies.

I have particular experience teaching both AQA and Edexcel Government and Politics, as well as Russian history papers.

I also taught English as a foreign language for two years to students of all ability levels in Italy, the UK and Russia, including extensive one-to-one tuition.
