We are thinking of getting an English tutor for my 5 year old son, who has learning difficulties, due to his mild Hemiplegia. He is currently behind in his reading and writing. His school have advised they have concerns over his visual perception. He does have "special" learning time with a small group at school, but we think 1 to 1 may be required to help further. He knows he is behind and finds the work a struggle, and it does upset him to the point that he can get upset about going to school. The School advise he tries very hard, and it is not through lack of effort that he is strugglng.
