Al-Salaamu `Alaikum! Hola! I am a part time graduate student supplementing my studies with tutorial work in languages including Arabic, Spanish, French, Farsi and English as a foreign language, as well as English literature, literacy, and Eleven Plus. My degree is in Arabic and Spanish from a leading UK university, and I have extensive experience living and working in countries where these languages are spoken.

I am an enthusiastic, patient and friendly educator with great insight into the processes of language learning and teaching, based on extensive experience gained both in the UK and abroad. I am comfortable teaching both the formal grammar and vocabulary of a language and spoken colloquial versions. I promote enjoyment of the language`s cultural background by introducing a range of engaging cultural elements such as newspaper articles, short stories, novels, cinema, music, and spoken word radio.

Well-acquainted with UK school syllabus requirements and possessing a range of teaching materials, I can also tailor my teaching to your specific needs, whether for travel, business, tourism, or to acquire an understanding of written texts. I am able to travel within the greater London area (although favouring East and Central London), and I look forward to discussing your individual requirements over the phone.

My individual lessons cost £15 per hour, and other rates can be discussed for groups of two or three students.

Availability: I`m available Monday, Wednesday and Friday at any time, and Tuesday and Thursday after 3pm.

Experience: I have experience of tutoring Spanish at beginner level and up to GCSE, Arabic up to undergraduate level, and English as a foreign language all the way from total beginner to undergraduate/adult advanced speaker levels.

Qualifications: GCSEs, A-Levels, Degree (BA Hons) in Arabic and Spanish, and working towards an MA in Art and Archaeology of the Middle East.
