I am a Qualified, Ofsted `Outstanding` Science Teacher and have taught at one of the top grammar schools in the country. I graduated from the University of Nottingham in Pharmacy. I now work as a full time tutor. I am also a current examiner for AQA.

I am a fun, bubbly and friendly individual. I thoroughly enjoy sciences and ultimately try and bring that enjoyment to my sessions. I like to make learning structured but also enjoyable for the student.

I have a passion for teaching and love both chemistry and biology. I feel that in some schools they can make the concepts confusing for a lot of bright pupils. I teach by going back to the pure basics of a subject, this is to ensure students understand the fundamentals and then build on their understanding- in order to achieve high grades at GCSE and A-level this is absolutely necessary. It is also important that students are not just memorising but understanding the subject as this is when enjoyment, confidence and interest for a subject really begins.

I teach AQA and OCR exam boards.

EASTER REVISION COURSES: A2 INTENSIVE COURSES HELD IN LEAMINGTON SPA. Well established and exam board specific courses.

These are a great way to revisit all of the work covered in the year and work on exam technique - it also gives students a push towards the number of hours and pace they need to start working at from April until their exams. I can say without reservation that all students who have attended in the past have benefited from the courses.

We received very positive feedback from last year, with 100% of students stating that they felt the course helped secure better grades. This year we have developed the existing courses further, expanded our team of tutors and are offering additional subjects.

The courses will run during the Easter Holidays. Each course is customised to the students attending and involves: group learning, exam technique, revision techniques, discussion based learning, past papers, exam practice, individual exercises and ample opportunity to ask questions.
