I am a native Spanish speaker and a fully qualified secondary school teacher in the UK.
I can teach Spanish from KS2 to University level.

Experience: I am a qualified teacher with experience teaching in several secondary schools in London. I have also been helping GCSE and A Level students to prepare for their Spanish exams through private tuition for several years. As a result, I am particularly familiar with the exam specifications of Edexcel and AQA Examination Boards.
At present, as well as working as a private tutor I also teach on a part-time basis A Level Spanish at an independent school and I run Spanish Clubs in several primary school in Surrey.

Languages are often perceived as a difficult and boring subject to learn, for this reason I am particular interested in teaching grammar communicatively. For instance, during my teaching training my mentor commented that my presentations for each lesson “showed careful and meticulous planning, and very engaging and innovative use of ICT which was reflected in learners’ enjoyment”. Also, for one to one tutoring I try to learn as much as possible about the needs of the student so I can tailor the lessons accordingly.
