I am an experienced teacher who has taught all ages between 4 and 13 at state Primary schools, Middle and Independent prep for Common Entrance Exams. I have taught Year 6 for some time, but I am equally comfortable teaching younger children. I am a published author of educational resources as well as an adventure story for children. I have a BA hons degree in History from Manchester University and a postgraduate teaching certificate from Sussex University. I have had particular responsibility for Literacy, History, Geography, Religious Studies and Special Educational Needs, and in the latter, I have a postgradutate certificate from Canterbury Christchurch University. I have recently taught year 6 in Kent but have experience teaching and tutoring younger children building confidence and developing skills.I have a wide range of resources for all levels and have had experience teaching children with a range of special needs.
