Of Jamaican and Bahamian origin and currently a LLB (law student), I am a very down to earth, practical person with very solid communication and interpersonal skills. I am a punctual, responsible and honest tutor. I understand and am sensitive to the diversity of people.My teaching approach is adapted to the requirements and the level of the tutee. I do not believe in a rigid approach (unless this is required), but aim to provide the best form of teaching that matches the tutee's preferred form of learning. I am a very patient tutor, breaking down subjects to make topics accessible to every type and level of learner. . I utilise tried and tested techniques to encourage confidence and promote independent learning. I have observed many different teaching styles to form a practical working knowledge of the best method to achieve optimum results from each student. I promote a positive learning environment at all times to increase productivity and motivate students. I will help develop study skills and habits when there isn't anyone else around to help students out. I will regularly evaluate students' progress in order to see where improvements can be made as well as regularly evaluate my teaching technique to make sure the student is receiving enough assistance.
