I am a professional journalist for an international news agency, with experience of tutoring students from age 8 through to adult learners.

I am patient and friendly, and with a BA (hons) degree in Journalism I possess impeccable English skills. For the last 12 years I have worked as a sports journalist for the country`s leading news agency.

In the last seven years I have successfully tutored several students from a range of backgrounds and with a variety of needs. I have helped those who speak English as a second language develop their confidence with speaking, reading and writing, as well as enabling GCSE and A-level students to bring their grades up and tutoring younger children whose parents are keen for them to get ahead with their school work.

Availability: I am available most evenings, and flexible with lesson times. I can accommodate or travel, although longer journeys may incur a small charge to cover costs.

Willing to travel: 30 miles

Experience: I worked part-time as a tutor to secondary school, college and university students for three years, and in the last seven years have taken to tutoring again on a part-time basis. I have been a professional journalist for 12 years, and to ensure that I can fully concentrate on each student`s needs I never have more than six clients at any one time.
