I am a graduated from the University of Bristol with a strong mathematical background.
My approach to tutoring is a strong belief in the huge value tutoring has in enabling students achieve their full potential. As a result, I am passionate and dedicated to creating and delivering lessons that are tailored to each student`s needs; to create in them a deep understanding and confidence in Maths.

The foundation of my teaching approach is encouraging students to think for themselves by shifting the cognitive load, using real world experiences wherever possible. I start teaching from topics the students are comfortable with and move gradually towards more complex areas as their confidence builds; continually implementing creative questioning as a key tool in checking for understanding before giving them the opportunity to practice their learning independently.

Availability: I am flexible and available Monday to Saturday, during the day and in the evening.

Experience: I have worked as a Tutor for over 10 years. My most recent role involved working as a Maths Tutor at a local secondary school where I planned and delivered bespoke lessons to targeted students to build an in-depth understanding on Maths thereby increasing their confidence and supporting them to achieve their full potential.
