I am a 26 year old science teacher with strong academic qualifications in science and and maths. I studied Biomedical Science at The Universitt of Sheffield where I obtained a 2.1 (1% off a 1st). I then moved onto to complete my PGCE in Biology at Kings College London. Since then I have been teaching science for 4 years, this is my fifth year with experience in teaching all sciences upto GCSEs and Biology upto A Level. Experience: I have been teaching science in state schools for 4 years, I have worked with a variety of pupils with various abilities, learning styles, strengths and weaknesses. In my time as a teacher I have tutored many pupils in preparation for SATs, GCSEs and A-Levels.I try to make tutoring sessions as individual, active and challenging as possible. The work will be catered to the needs of the pupil with any areas of weakness focused on strongly. An acitve pupil is much more likely to learn then a pupil who just looks and listens. This will involve past exam questions, problem solving and simple remembering tasks.
