I am a friendly and enthusiastic Pharmacy student who enjoys tutoring children and teenagers in the subjects I love - Maths and Science. Family and friends describe me as kind, hard-working, organised and friendly, and I hope that you will agree when you meet me!

I teach in a fairly informal style to encourage my students to feel comfortable with me and tell me when they do not understand. For teaching maths, I will introduce the topics, explain and go through examples then ask the student to practice a few questions with, and without, my help. For science, I will explain the topics using text and images then let the student carry out some exercises with my aid to ensure that the information has been retained.

If agreed by parents I will set some short homework tasks to monitor their progress.

As I enjoy the subjects that I teach, I feel that my enthusiasm and learning methods will inspire students to work to their best ability.

Experience: I have been tutoring privately for five years, primarily for GCSE and Key Stage 3 Maths and Science.
