I tutor English for the UK Independent Sector Entrance Exams from 7+ to 13+
For all the top 50 UK Independent schools
- I place many children into the top tier. Eton, Harrow, Winchester, St Paul’s Girls, St Paul’s Boys,
Charterhouse, Dulwich.

That said, I also tutor with great success for grammar school entry at 11+



INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS / FAMILIES

I tutor many Chinese, Asian, Indian, European children, Zooming both here in the Uk - as well as in Beijing and Shanghai, Paris and Washington DC. Several of my international families have retained my services for six of seven years, from school entrance to university entrance - I am happy to say that I consistently maintain friendly and supportive relationships.

I am well known to the top schools and often speak to admissions staff on behalf of parents of International students – for which I do NOT charge any fee, provided your child is one of my students. I will advise very well on schools once I get to know your child’s academic and other interests. This is part of my service for International parents – ( I am not an Agent, I am a Tutor – but I’m happy to advise since I know pretty much all of the schools.)

I sometimes accept students for GCSE & A LEVEL English, and typically improve their grade from a B to an A* within 12 months)

I also accept one or two students solely creative writing at any age 5 years – 100 years.

I am a Published Author with an Internationally famous Literary publisher with 2 Nobel Prize Laureates on their list. I remain the youngest author ever published by them.



Across the last 14 years, I have 98% pass rate into First choice independent school,
& remaining 2% to Second choice independent schools.
Not one of my students has failed an English entrance exam (excepting one or two who were exempt due to sickness then passed subsequently) .

My student-intake these last 10 years has achieved 3-5 scholarships/bursaries each year, representing savings of between
£5,000-00 to as much as £24,000-00 PA to your family.
