Following completion of my degree and post graduate I have undertaken a variety of teaching posts as well as working as a freelance musician. I have approximately ten years of performing and teaching experience having worked for various orchestras, music services and establishments. My teaching posts have been in both primary and comprehensive schools, colleges and I have also taught adult learners on a private basis. My commitment and passion for teaching music has led me to have a 100% pass rate in all external examinations undertaken by my pupils.

I currently work as a self-employed cello teacher at The Cathedral School in Llandaff where I teach individual students and have personally set up and coach a junior and senior cello ensemble. As a private tutor l have four adult students who range in standard from beginner to advanced and one young student.

My most recent employment has been teaching cello at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Department where I teach individuals and groups of student, in the past I have also lead and planned the ‘Music First’ String ensemble for four to eight year olds.

I am available to teach all levels of cello from beginner to advanced and age ranges from 4 years to adult. I am also available to tutor music theory and for extra tutoring for G.C.S.E, AS and A levels.
