Information about Andrew
I`m half way through a PhD in theoretical physics at University College London. I completed my MSci undergraduate degree in Maths and Physics at the University of Bristol with first class honours. I went to Wymondham high School for GCSE and A-Level, for A-Levels I did maths, further maths and physics.
Availability: I can teach evenings and weekends. I will be able to commit to doing tutoring for at least the next year.
Willing to travel: 8 miles
Experience: My degree and PhD have given me very good skills in maths, physics and programming which all play an integral part in my work. I have also had many opportunities to teach. I demonstrated in Bristol as part of a maths cafe scheme, helping first year undergraduates with python and maple coding. I helped second year maths students two years running in UCL with Mathematica classes and I also demonstrated in a postgraduate C++ programming course. Before that in A-Level I helped GCSE students with understanding their maths homework. I always enjoy teaching and find I am enthusiastic about the subject. I believe I am good at explaining concepts at many levels.
