Information about Aysha
Hi, I`m Aysha!
No two students are the same, so each session is tailored to your needs. I share highly effective study techniques and evidence based learning methods to help my students master course content. Im a strong advocate of getting to know each of my students; so our time is adapted to working on your strengths, weaknesses and working towards meeting your targets.
My sessions consist of
- an abundance of questions, worksheets and exam practice
- regular reference to your exam syllabus or national curriculum for direction
- mark schemes and model answers
-scaffolding to assist you in becoming independent learners.
-consistent independent work set
I find it extremely fulfilling to see the growth in confidence, ability and knowledge in each of my students, and to see them become accomplished in their chosen subjects. The results my students achieve shows that with your hard work and a strong student centred approach, it can make all the difference in helping you overcome difficulties and to succeed in achieving your full potential.
My interactive sessions use starters, worksheets, games and quizzes, and I also pair work with other online learning platforms to ensure my learners maintain long term memories.
Our sessions are always varied, some weeks a student`s priority may be to tackle class content or for preparation for assessments; this is always paired with practice papers. Other sessions are tailored to get ahead with classroom content, giving learners that extra confidence when back in their classrooms. Once learners are happy with the content, I always encourage my students to follow spaced repetition revision and attempt questions in their own time too.
If you have any question, please do not hesitate to get in touch!

Experience: I have been teaching for 7 years in a variety of settings, supporting individuals from KS1 to GCSE. I have experience teaching in secondary schools, tuition centres and in community settings, teaching KS3 and GCSE Science and I also have additional experience in teaching and tutoring Maths at these levels. In addition, on a one to one or small group basis, I support primary aged students to get to grips with their numeracy and literacy skills. I am currently a Cubs Leader where I plan and deliver an exciting programme of outdoor activities, crafts, community projects, games and challenges. During my time teaching I have built an extensive knowledge of the AQA, Edexcel and OCR exam boards.
