Information about Debora
I am an Italian tutor with a long term teaching experience. I can deliver online or face to face tuition in a flexible, conversational mode or in a structured style, according to students`needs.
I am a CELTA-qualified (2005) language teacher with 10+ years` experience, currently teaching Italian at various London-based institutions.
Learning a new language is a way to open your mind to new perspectives and as such can be daunting at first, but also fun! I am seriously committed to my students` progression and development.
I can teach online or arrange face to face classes in quiet public spaces in North London. I am happy to tailor the content of our classes to your needs, so please drop me an email so we can discuss options together.
Availability: Flexible - to be arranged with students - please note that at the moment I do not work weekends.
Willing to travel: 1 miles
Experience: I teach at various London-based HE institutions, both online and face to face. As a native Italian and an experienced tutor I am confident I can work well with different types of students and teach them not only Italian language but also Italian culture. Over the years I have taught students from a range of different backgrounds, from complete beginners to very advanced students.
Ultimately learning a language is not just about pronunciation, grammar and syntax (although these are important!) but also about gaining an intercultural understanding of another country, other people and their lives.
