I graduated from the University of Birmingham with a Bsc Natural Sciences degree in Maths and Chemistry in 2015. Since then I completed the PGCE (postgraduate certificate of education) at the University of Oxford. I`ve worked at a several schools including an inner London school with exceptional student results. I currently work as a math teacher at the Waverley secondary school in Birmingham. I`ve developed my teaching style to create lasting confidence and exam success for my students by adhering to the following principles:

1. Building a strong relationship with the student to aid learning.

2. Making the content relevant to the student by using real life examples and breaking down learning into achievable steps.

3. Providing exam practise. When students see their efforts turning into marks their motivation gets a wonderful boost.

4. Having students regularly teach back concepts to me to enhance their long-term retention of knowledge.

5. Setting regular homework with personalised feedback.
