I hold a first class degree, a PGCE and a Masters in Education from the University of Cambridge. I have taught in primary schools and independent prep schools over the last 10 years.

Experience: With over 10 years of experience of teaching in primary schools and independent prep schools, I have taught children across the entire primary / prep age range from 4 to 13 years old. As a general primary teacher, I am able to offer tuition to students in phonics, literacy and maths. This may include homework help, general booster work, targeted work on areas of difficulty, work to improve confidence or exam preparation. My specialism is in teaching maths and my most recent teaching post was as Head of Maths at an independent prep school. There I taught maths across Years 5-8, which involved helping to prepare students for 10+, 11+, 12+ and 13+ school entrance exams, as well as SATs and common entrance preparation.
