About me and my Experience:

I am a fully qualified tutor with a high first-class master`s degree in biochemical immunology and five years of successful experience. Tutoring is an enjoyable and rewarding career for me and I have proudly tutored over 100 repeat students, both privately and with various organizations and schools. Additionally, I have two years of secondary school classroom experience and I am familiar with the KS3 to A-level academic curricula. I have also worked with students with special educational needs (SEN) in these settings.

My goal as a tutor is to not only improve student achievement but also enhance their engagement. I am thrilled to share that my students have shown significant improvements in their subjects, with excellent feedback in science and mathematics. Many of my long-term students have not only enrolled in top global schools and universities, including St. George`s International School and the University of Nottingham, but have also received scholarships. One of my A-level students currently interns at the pharmaceutical Giant GSK, conducting research on oral healthcare product formulations. The high quality one-on-one tutoring sessions I offer are conducted online using interactive technologies like whiteboards. I adapt my teaching methods to cater to each student`s individual needs, requests, and subject knowledge. My primary focus is on creating a safe environment where students feel comfortable to learn, make mistakes, and actively engage with the covered content. I take confidentiality and safeguarding extremely seriously, ensuring the student`s safety throughout the tutoring process. By limiting the number of students I take on at any given time, I can provide personalized attention and a certain level of flexibility.

My approach involves addressing the identified gaps in knowledge and skills through practice questions, well-explained concepts, and step-by-step guidance to reach the correct answers. Once students have established a solid foundation of subject knowledge, I challenge them by training their ability to apply and connect their knowledge to new areas, as these skills are often tested by exam boards in higher-level suggest questions.

To go the extra mile for my students, I provide additional resources at no extra cost, including home experiments, homework assignments, weekly progress reports, targeted revision guidance, and supplementary study materials.
