My academic journey started off with two years of "Classes Préparatoires", which is an intensive study programme in physics and mathematics, at the end of which nationwide competitive examinations give you access to French engineering schools. I was admitted to teaching and research oriented ENS (Ecole Normale Supérieure) Cachan, in the Parisian suburbs.
I studied theoretical and experimental physics for another two years, covering most fields of physics, after which I undertook another intensive year of preparation for the teaching-focused "Agrégation" nationwide competitive examination, used to recruit teachers for the above mentioned higher education "Classes Préparatoires", and ranked 23rd.
I then set off on a one-year travel in South Africa and New Zealand, which gave me countless opportunities to meet and interact with people of diverse backgrounds, ethnicity and cultures. I do believe that it imparted with with a sense of open-mindedness that constantly helps me and gives me motivation to learn and discover more. I am therefore confident in dealing with all sorts of students and characters.
I then did a specialisation Master`s in Renewable Energy, which I finished with a six month internship in Edinburgh, followed by another 6 months working as a research assistant in Marine Energy.

Availability: Anytime of the week, except Thursday nights.

Willing to travel: 5 miles

Experience: I am native in French and have now reached a native level in English, and feel absolutely comfortable teaching Physics and Mathematics both in French and English. And, naturally, I can teach French, which I have had the opportunity to do with several students here in Edinburgh over the past two years.
Also, I have experience in teaching Physics both in English (National 5 level) and French (in the above mentioned "Classes Préparatoires").
