I`m a qualified teacher with over 17 years experience in teaching Maths and business studies. I also have considerable experience in working with students with SEN.
Due to work commitments I have not been offering ant tutoring services for the past 2 years. But I am now back, and ready to begin tutoring from September 2021.
Availability: Monday to Friday 4pm - 7pm
Occasional weekends

This tutor agreed to tutor my son and agreed a day and time he was available on a weekly basis so I paid for his details. He then twice changed the date and then failed to show up at all with no communication whatsoever and failed to respond to my text and email asking if he was coming. He simply went silent which set a very poor example for my son.
Tutors Response :
The client paid tutorhunt for my details, not me.
I did indeed change the appointment times as the original appointment did not work, as already communicated to the client. I went "silent" after the rude messages demanding a refund for the cost you you buying my details. This is a matter between the client and Tutorhunt. No money was exchanged between the client and myself.

Our son is in Year 6 of primary school. Due to prolonged teacher ill-health he had a half-term pre Christmas when he had a series of substitute teachers - result a confused child with undermined confidence who went from being on target to believing he was "bad at maths". My efforts to help my son only seemed to further undermine his confidence.
Stuart worked with my son once a week from mid January through to mid June. Within just a month, the difference in my son`s confidence and willingness to "give maths a go" was significant. He is now much more confident and, whilst he is not a maths prodigy, he is back on track and has a much more positive mindset - thanks Stuart :)

Stuart is a very good tutor we are pleased with his way of tutorin our son, punctual . he explains topics in depth and clearly. He understand the need of the student ,accordingly he plan the lessons.
