Experience: Having recently completed TeachFirst`s Leadership Development Programme as Subject Lead in a central London school, I have extensive teaching and tutoring experience with a strong track record of success. I was an English teacher and Seminar Leader for the Oxbridge China Student Education Project at Yanghzou Global IELTS and Shanghai Experimental School in 2013. I recently obtained my Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (CELTA) with an A grade. I have a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Canterbury Christ Church University (Distinction) and achieved my Qualified Teacher Status as Outstanding. I am also an experienced academic and practical musician, having graduated from Christ Church, Oxford in 2014 with a Double First (Bachelor of Arts in Music). I was a Christ Church academic scholar, having achieved a First in Honour Moderations. I am an accomplished classical and jazz pianist, and a Licentiate of Trinity College London, having completed my LCTL Diploma with 92%. I reached the quarter finals of BBC`s Young Musician of the Year, the finals of Cambridge Young Musician of the Year, and EPTA regional finals. I was Musical Director for the Oxford University Big Band `The Donut Kings`, 2012-13, playing at numerous balls and functions.
