I live in Topsham to which I have retired last year and I have the summer off as there are no exams so I am furloughed by the exam boards. I have been a Head of Geography at St Clotilde`s in the Cotswolds before eventually being Head of Year and Geography teacher at a girls leading independent boarding school near Dorking in Surrey.

Availability: I am available most weekends and weekdays and evenings
I am available on a face to face basis as well as online
I am happy to mark homework if you want additional work in my own time at no extra cost.
I only moved to Devon in December

Experience: I have over 30 years experience teaching A level and GCSE geography and occasionally Geology (my degree subject). I have 25 years experience as an examiner at GCSE,A level and for Cambridge International examinations. My teaching style was not to teach to the lowest common denominator but hopefully to inspire my students - to add to which I was a keen proponent of fieldwork. Although retired from school I am a current examiner for OCR,AQA,Edexcel and CIE and intend to continue with that.
