Information about Sacha

I am a qualified teacher and private tutor based in West London with over fifteen years of teaching experience in both primary, secondary and special education schools. I am 100% dedicated to the success of my students and believe that each individual child is a unique gift that has unlimited potential.
In addition to tutoring primary maths, English and preparing students for Common Entrance exams, I am also a literacy and language specialist. Indeed, as a fully qualified dyslexia teacher and assessor registered with the British Dyslexia Association, I support children who are struggling with reading, writing and spelling as well as provide specialist reports for statutory exams for those who need them. I also hold a PGCE in Spanish and French from the Institute of Education and have extensive experience in preparing students for GCSE examinations. For students that would like to improve their levels of English as a Foreign Language, I am also a Cambridge certified language instructor who can help pupils to improve their conversational and written skills. A lot of my work in this latter area has centred around proofreading academic work for international students and this has proved very rewarding.

As a qualified and experienced teacher, my students experience great exam success as my approach is easy to follow and I also take time to understand each child that I work with. Indeed, each child is furnished with an individual education plan and targets can range from improving confidence to gaining an A* in a particular subject. As the holder of a post graduate degree in special education I also have extensive experience in supporting children with a variety of special educational needs including autism, dyslexia and behaviour difficulties. Indeed , I believe that every child has the ability to learn and as teachers we need to understand the individual needs of each child.
