I am an experienced pianist, teaching students for over 5 years from beginner all the way up to grade 8.
At the age of 18, I received an offer to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London and from the University of Oxford. I have performing professionally since 2018.

I have a deep passion for classical music and enjoy performing music from composers such as Rachmaninoff, Beethoven and Chopin.

Alongside music, I have always excelled in Mathematics and have an in depth understanding as to how best to teach the discipline.

Experience: I am an experienced pianist, teaching students for over 5 years from beginner all the way up to grade 8.

I have completed a performance diploma alongside participating in various piano competitions around the South of England.

Although I am primarily a classical pianist, I have do also enjoy teaching more contemporary styles of piano including pop and jazz or film music.

I believe the secret to becoming a competent pianist is to develop the fundamentals and this is what I mostly focus on with my students.

Despite this, I am also a competent mathematician and I have a rigorous but patient approach to teaching the discipline. I guarantee improvement and increased understanding for all my students. Similar to my approach with piano, I encourage my students to engage with and understand the material. I find this produces the best performance for exams.

Despite this, I always tailor my approach to student`s individual needs and am constantly seeking to ensure that they are enjoying their piano playing while making the most improvement possible.

I have been teaching GCSE maths since the age of 17 and am now very comfortable with the curriculum.
