I am a final year PhD student at Imperial College London, previously studying Natural Sciences (BA) and Systems Biology (MSci) at the University of Cambridge. Since leaving school I’ve spent the last 9 years studying and undertaking research in many exciting labs, working on everything from cancer biology to tropical disease! I’ve taught and supervised many students during my time at university and in research, and am very passionate about not only teaching but inspiring the next generation of scientists!

I offer online tuition in Biology at KS3, GCSE, and A-level, using screen sharing to teach and demonstrate concepts. Lessons are fun, interactive, and explore the key concepts required for exams in detail. They are adaptable for students’ level, preferred learning style, and exam board. As well as getting a good grasp of scientific principles, we’ll go into detail on past papers, mark schemes, and examiner reports to understand how best to communicate that knowledge to the examiner!

Experience: I have extensive experience teaching students at university level across Life Sciences and Medicine, supervising lab and literature projects, and preparing and demonstrating practical classes for undergraduates. This involved adapting a third-year course to online teaching during the pandemic, which has given me plenty of experience teaching online!
