Specialising in A-level Economics tuition for the Edexcel A and AQA exam boards, my student results total 85% A* / A and 100% enrollment on BSc/BA courses with past students currently at many top UK universities such as Cambridge and the LSE studying Economics, Finance and Business undergraduate degrees.

Matt is an absolutely fantastic economics tutor, throughout my sons A level economics course he has provided not only expert technical tuition but the encouragement and guidance needed for my son to build confidence in the subject and his ability to take some relatively complex theoretical models and apply them. His approach is very ‘real world’ i.e he explains something that can feel very abstract to a relatively young person and applies it to real world examples to bring the subject to life, my son has also found Matt easy to talk with and relate and really enjoys the tutoring sessions. Overall Matt has been instrumental in helping my son to achieve his best in economics and I would not hesitate to recommend him.

Matt has been tutoring our son now for preparation for A Level Economics for just over 3 months and I cannot speak highly enough. He is an exceptional tutor who has a natural rapport with his students. His knowledge in his field is second to none and he is exceptionally bright and intelligent but somehow he expresses this in such a natural way that it doesn’t feel in any way shape or form as a “lesson”. His teaching style is so natural, yet so informative and so interesting that he really holds the attention of our son. He always ensures that our son has understood every point, sets homework and gives constructive feedback. To sum Matt up in a nutshell when asked how he is getting on our son says “I honestly don’t know what I’d do without him”. In a short space of time Matt has made exceptional progress with our son going from a subject he struggled with to a predicted A grade. If you need an Economics teacher, please don’t hesitate. You really won’t find anyone better and on a personal level just such a polite, friendly and exceptional young man.

Matthew has been tutoring my son for a few weeks in Economics in preparation for his A Level exam in the summer, and my son is really enjoying the sessions and working with him.
