Information about Olivia
Olivia is a third year mezzo-soprano undergraduate at Royal College of Music studying with Veronica Veysey Campbell. Olivia grew up in Dorset where she won Adult Singer of the Year 2017 and was a pupil at Junior Guildhall for 4 years studying with Marilyn Rees. She received first place in the Junior Guildhall singing competition as well as receiving the Singers Prize 2018. Olivia has recently completed a year working as a music gap student at St. Johns College School Cambridge where she worked with the choristers and assisted the music classes. Olivia has also been involved with the National Youth Training Choir and the Bournemouth Symphony Chorus which included performances at the Royal Albert Hall, Winchester Cathedral, Truro Cathedral and The Lighthouse Poole. Shes performed as a soloist in Handels Messiah at Ringwoods Parish Church and many roles with the Wimborne Studio including Papagena from The Magic Flute and Anne Page from Merry Wives of Windsor. Olivia was part of the chorus of Acis and Galatea for Hurn Courts Opera and performed in many charity concerts such as Stars at Merley House and is a member of the Broadstone Music Series. Olivia has obtained grade 8 in pianoforte and received distinctions at intermediate level in dance.
