I am a passionate, yet experienced and dedicated tutor with 6 years of experience in teaching, both in person and online. I am presentable, professional, and friendly. I work hard to ensure that every one of my learners succeeds in their studies. I have great success in boosting confidence; improving skills and knowledge; developing speed and fluency in the subject and increasing results in exams by several grades.

My teaching style puts my student at the very centre of focus ensuring that no two lessons are the same and that all of my student’s specific needs are met. Being both a student and tutor I have a unique perspective on exam skills; whilst teaching subject matter I also stress the importance of analysing all the resources provided such as mark schemes and proformas. In doing so I teach my students analysis skills that are applicable not only in the classroom but in all walks of life.

I completed my BSc in Physics at Durham University with first-class honours. Mathematics and Science are the subjects I choose to teach as I have a good comprehensive understanding of the subject material. This is conveyed in how I can communicate complicated knowledge in an easy-to-understand manner. I am also very aware of specific exam-board syllabuses which allows me to focus on the areas of a subject which will benefit my students more in exams.

Availability: I am available for online tutoring on most weekdays and I am available for in-person tutoring on Sundays.
