Hello! I`m a friendly and enthusiastic final year medical student studying at the University of Cambridge. I enjoy cooking/baking and swimming. During my time at University, I`ve been a member of many committees - the biggest probably being the Gonville & Caius May Ball Committee. Organising a ball for over 1000 guests takes a lot of planning and enthusiasm!

I`ve loved maths for as long as I can remember and it was always my favourite subject at school. I achieved an A* in both Maths and Further Maths A Levels, getting an A grade in all 13 modules I studied (including 100/100 in C1-4, the most important components of A Level Maths). I would love to share my passion for the subject with you and believe I can get you excited about maths too, which is why it`s my preferred subject for tutoring! I can also tutor biology, chemistry and physics alongside maths if needed as I have studied all of these subjects for A Level. In addition, I am able to provide personal statement advice (particularly for medicine/Oxbridge applications), as well as interview tips and practice (£30/hr).

With only a few months left until exams are underway, the importance of getting to grips with the material tested cannot be overstated. I run intensive tutoring lessons to prepare students for their upcoming exams, and will aim to cover each module within the subject in a time efficient and clear manner. Exams are the final hurdle to be crossed for a student and I hope to help students achieve the grades they are hoping for with the support and encouragement needed.

I’m relatively flexible with my timings, with lessons ideally being on weekends where possible. I prefer to tutor for 1.5hr lessons as I feel this gives us more time to cover core concepts as well as to try a wide variety of questions, allowing me to fill any gaps in core knowledge. I am likely to be able to travel to your home to tutor (for students that live over 10 miles away from me, I would kindly ask for reimbursement for travel at a reasonable rate, or for tutoring to take place at a closer location).

Experience: Currently tutor A Level Maths, GCSE Maths and GCSE Biology. Have participated and taught in multiple small group teaching sessions throughout my medical course at University, as well as classes of 15-30 students at an English summer camp in China. Have a total of over 100 hours of teaching experience.

I`m a patient and friendly person and would tailor my teaching style to your child so that they can achieve the most possible from these sessions. I believe in starting out with a rough plan for the first few sessions based upon your child`s school curriculum, focusing upon areas that your child finds particularly difficult and using these as building blocks to help build their confidence in the subject. I believe that a thorough explanation and lots of practice will help with seeing positive results as time goes on.
