My name is Patricia. I am from Asturias, a small region in northern Spain. When I was 20 years old I decided to move to Andorra. I have always loved skiing and the mountain so moving there seemed to be a perfect choice. Once there, and over 11 years, I developed my career as a teacher. I came back to my hometown in 2010 to prepare the State exams to work as an English Primary teacher, which were due in 2016. At the end, the exams got postponed for over 2 years. Luckily for me, I had the opportunity to move to London where I am living at the moment. Being here is like a dream to me since not only I get to enjoy this wonderful city but also, I get to keep improving my English every day.

An enthusiastic and focused Teacher offering 11+years teaching experience with a strong desire to help students succeed. I have worked in the Andorran and Spanish National Curriculums, teaching Spanish to both children and adults of diverse backgrounds.
I am volunteering at a language school as a Spanish Language Assistant in London. I have comprehensive knowledge of the contents for Spanish exams (DELE all levels, GCSE, A level or Degree level), which gives me a wide variety of Spanish educative resources to help students achieve their goals.

Teaching approach:
I try to be as inspirational as possible with my pupils. I focus on improving their communication skills in an efficient and lasting way, emphasizing the practical uses of the language. My approach is much more topic based, with as little grammar as possible. I organize additional material that is interesting for the pupil, like podcasts, websites, videos and even some cooking workshop!. That allows me to keep the students` motivation at the same time I teach them useful resources to keep improving their Spanish level. Nevertheless, I always adapt my teaching methods to my students` needs and skills.
