I am a graduate with a BA in English Literature and French from Durham University. I would like to continue working as a private tutor for Primary/ GCSE and A Level. I am also currently working as a Primary Supply Teacher with QTS. I therefore have a thorough understanding of the curriculum for Key stage 2 and am experienced at working with children up to age 11.

Availability: From 5 PM Monday- Friday
Any time Saturday/ Sunday

Willing to travel: 10 miles

Experience: I have previously worked as private tutor for French GCSE, where I worked with pupils and parents to establish goals such as upcoming exams and planned lessons to work on areas to improve. I also checked subject specifications for each pupil`s exam board (AQA, Edexcel etc.)and ensured our lessons worked towards these guidelines. I used a variety of teaching materials in my lessons, from worksheet activities to audio clips and conversation practice/ roleplay.

I have also worked as a British Council Language Assistant teaching English in both a middle and secondary school in France so I have experience of working with children from 11-18 in small groups and on a one to one basis.
