Amber

I am a qualified artist and teacher and have been a freelance full time art teacher for 11 years with a highly successful art business running in the West Herts area teaching children and adults in all forms of art including A level and GCSE standard.

My own work explores the fine arts and has been shown in galleries across Australia. When I am not teaching or coordinating arts education programmes for public spaces I spend time working on my own artworks. I love to teach art, its highly rewarding and meaningful to give students the skills to be creative.

Availability: I work with several other artists and between us all we make sure we can fit you in!

Experience: I have 11 years teaching experience with children and adults. I have taught for schools, galleries, art clubs, courses and privately. I can teach pencil, pen, charcoal, chalk, watercolour, oil, gouache and acrylic paint.

I have a very calm approach to teaching because the journey and the end result are as important as each other. I am able to encourage and support students to push past their personal creative barriers. I always bring a smile and a sense of humour to classes because its important for students to feel comfortable around me.

To every private class I teach I bring an easel or board and a range of materials to save you time and money. I spend a lot of time planning and preparing so that the student gets the best from the time spent with me.
