Information about Sidney
I am studying toward a Masters in Statistics at University College London (UCL) and have been awarded a Distinction in my thesis. I am a teaching assistant in Mathematics at Fortismere school and also hold a Bachelors degree in Economics. I`m dedicated, professional, love my subjects and most importantly enjoy teaching and seeing students progress their knowledge.
I am available to tutor pupils in maths, statistics and economics. My rates are £20 p/h and I offer the first lesson free if you do not wish to pursue my services.
My approach is to provide the tutee with an intuitive understanding of the material and help them apply a methodical approach to learning. I`m experienced in helping students prepare for examinations and I can quickly grasp the type of learner they are, tailoring sessions to their requirements. As well as that I am always keen to get to know the student and build rapport.
