Information about Devya
I am currently a final year medical student studying at Birmingham Medical School with a passion for teaching. I hope to inspire students to discover the joys of science both academically and in their everyday life. I can teach Biology and Chemistry for KS3, GCSE and A-level.
In addition, I would love to help students applying for medicine with their medical interviews. Having applied and been successful with my medical application, receiving offers from all 5 university choices, I can help guide students so that they gain confidence and are successful with their application.
Availability: Currently I can only provide online teaching.

Experience: With 10 A*s at GCSEs and 4 As at A-levels (in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Maths), I have a deep understanding for the sciences which I believe can help students reach their desired grades.
I have a variety of experience teaching children with a range of abilities. I taught KS3 students Biology by leading dissections of different specimens and taught younger students swimming at a special school. With my love for teaching, I hope to build rapport with my students so that they can appreciate the wonders of science and achieve their full potential.

Devya explains the topics very precisely to my daughter with a detailed explanation and diagram. She is very punctual, always gives a compact and detailed feedback to the parents which is very helpful.

Devya tutored my daughter in GCSE biology and chemistry. My daughter spoke very highly of Devya`s teaching, that she clearly spent time preparing for lessons that were tailored to my daughters needs and enjoyed her teaching style. My daughter received a grade 9 in her mock GCSEs for both subjects. She already enjoyed chemistry and biology but we credit Devya for pushing her to achieve the top grade and reinforcing her desire to continue with biology and chemistry at A-level.
