Information about Catherine
I am a qualified teacher and tutor with 20 years experience. I support students in Psychology GCSE and Psychology degrees, Business Studies degrees, Nursing degrees; and Education degrees/Teacher Training courses (undergraduate and PGCE). I also offer support with personal statements, proofreading, revision and resubmissions.
I have excellent success rates and all of my students have made significant progress. I am friendly, supportive and ensure that the needs of my students are at the centre of my work. I also have experience of working with students with barriers to learning such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, Autism, ADHD; and English as a Second Language.
Availability: Mon to Fri - 9 am until 7pm (last appointment 6 pm)
Sat - 9 am to 1 pm (last appointment 12 pm)
Out of these hours online sessions may be negotiable if the student is working full time or if in a different time zone.
Willing to travel: Home Only
Experience: I am DBS checked and subscribe to the update service annually. I also hold certificates in Safeguarding, Prevent (anti-radicalism), Online Social Network Guidance and ZSA suicide awareness.

Catherine is incredibly lovely and such a warm person. For me, it was so important that I found a tutor that I could connect well with, is able to understand my field and someone that can really support me to strengthen my personal and academic abilities. Catherine really does work with the student and I am delighted to be well supported during this journey. I would honestly Highly recommend Catherine as a tutor.

I needed help with creating strong and critical writing for my university task. I was choosing few tutors before but we couldn`t work together as some of them didn`t have enough patients with me. I`m person with bit of special needs and also suffer slightly from a dislexia. I found Catherine to be very patient and knowledgeable. She new how to adjust teaching techniques in order to help me achieve good scores. But the most importantly I enjoyed every lesson. I waited with the comments as I wanted to see first feedback from my university which arrived yesterday. I`m so happy that I successfully pass and this couldn`t be possible without Catherine. I`m thankful for her courage in teaching and wishing her all the best for the future.

Catherine is a very good tutor who has a brilliant understanding of business and management. She makes even complex frameworks and theories easy to understand and apply. As a third year university student, her tutoring has helped me grow my understanding and become more confident in applying theory into practice.
