Hi! I`m an enthusiastic, friendly, personable Cambridge and Imperial educated maths tutor catering to all levels up to and including degree level as well as University entrance (Oxbridge / Imperial etc) / MSc admissions` work etc...
I went to Cambridge and Imperial (then back to Cambridge), and have a First Class Degree in Mathematics, with postgraduate work in Financial Maths. In the distant past, apparently I was one of only 12 people worldwide to get max (45) points in my IB on leaving school. After over a decade in Financial Services, trading various kinds of exotic derivatives, and after a career break (involving more mathematics!) I briefly returned to the City in 2019 before deciding teaching Mathematics was what I really enjoyed.In fact I started training as a secondary teacher in 2019-20 however with the advent of lockdowns other activities took centre stage. In the interim I very much enjoy tailored 1-1 tuition where I put my all into understanding how best to communicate concepts, methods and perspectives to the student I`m working with. Teamwork`s fun!
Over the years I`ve tutored heavily, KS4/KS5 and undergraduate level (in addition to postgrad topics in mathematical finance). Given my background competitive University entrance (MAT / STEP) is a particular interest of mine.
Most of all I LOVE maths and my tutees respond well to I hope an infectious enthusiasm - I really enjoy explaining things until they click, and with my passion for maths, it`s something that`s very rewarding for me.

Experience: I`ve tutored GCSE/A-level / IB / University Entrance / degree level, either privately or indeed helping with University interview training sessions at schools in London. I am specifically good at helping pupils prepare for Oxbridge interviews / exams. At a higher level, I`ve taught standard undergrad material in Analysis/Algebra/Probability/Methods/PDEs, amongst other areas, with postgrad material in Financial Mathematics.

Adnan was a fantastic help in working towards my engineering mathematics exam. Having sent him a couple of exam papers he was clearly very familiar with all the maths involved and was great at explaining it to me.
He was always very punctual and even wrote me notes and lent me one of his textbooks to work from.
I`ll certainly be using him again in the future if needs be.
I cannot recommend him enough!

I’m preparing for an MSc in Maths and haven’t looked at any maths since leaving school - 10yrs ago. We’re going over everything from A level to the end of undergrad degree level.
Adnan really knows his stuff, is a nice guys, and easy to work with. 10/10
