My name is Ozcan and I recently graduated from Nottingham Trent University with a First Class Honours degree in Spanish and Mandarin Chinese (BA Hons). I am extremely passionate about languages and learning about different cultures coming from a Turkish Cypriot cultural background myself. My primary aim is to help you unlock your potential and improve your language level. As a polyglot, I fully understand the difficulties that students experience with grammar and syntax, confidence, and perfectionism. I welcome all levels and will adapt my lessons and plan according to your needs, helping you to achieve your goals. I will also be able to give you top tips and tricks that will aid in improving your language level. No matter what variety of Spanish, Mandarin or English you want to learn, I am willing to help! I am very dedicated, professional, patient, and love what I do. With hard work, passion, practice, and motivation, I believe that every student can reach their goals.

Experience: I helped native Chinese speakers with improving their English, creating my own resources and paying particular attention to grammar and fluency. I did my year abroad in Valencia, Spain, where I studied at Universitat de València and also did an internship with AIP Language Institute as a Spanish Assistant where I was able to help international students (particularly Chinese) with their level of Spanish. I taught Spanish at a primary school in North London, leading my own classes to help students to make rapid progress with their Spanish. I assisted a secondary school in North London as a Languages Assistant facilitating teachers in the correction of exam papers, doing mini presentations, providing feedback, and correcting others` errors. With Chinese, I am constantly utilising the language and have many friends and teachers that I keep in contact with from China and Taiwan. I currently have HSK3 and HSKK Elementary qualifications as well as being fully exposed to the language on a regular basis.
