I help students to become confident users of science and maths, and get them through exams as a result. I teach the “Why” as well as the “How to”.
Throughout a technical career in biotechnology, food and healthcare, my skill has been in using science to solve problems, and then to communicate results to general managers. Believe me, Managing Directors are harder to explain to than students.
Before starting with Tutor Hunt, my tutoring experience was mostly in industry, getting technicians through vocational qualifications. I have also tutored maths for science at university level.
Availability: Weekday daytime and some evenings. Weekend by arrangement

Experience: Extensive experience in industry, getting technicians through vocational qualifications. I have been with Tutor Hunt since 2016, since when I have helped 15 students through A-level and Open University.
