I have worked with primary aged children since 2005, first as a one to one support for children with additional needs and then a teaching assistant. I then started my teaching training and qualified in 2007 so have been teaching ages 5 to 11 since then. For the past ten years I have been a Senior Assistant Headteacher with teaching responsibilities on a daily basis. I love working with children of all abilities and developing positive relationships with children to help them feel safe and secure when learning and making improvements. I also believe that good spoken language is key to developing skills across all areas of the curriculum.

Availability: Online - Monday to Friday 5pm, 6pm or 7pm or in person is close to SW6

Willing to travel: 3 miles

Experience: Taught ages 5 - 11 since 2005.
Can teach all primary school subjects - special interest in developing a love of reading, phonics, reading with fluency, with expression and developing comprehension.
Supporting the development of creative writing, increasing writing stamina as well as developing use of correct grammar is also a passion.
Able to help develop sound understanding of maths concepts.
Lots of experience in preparing children for the KS1 and KS2 SATS.
Have tutored children since 2007.
