Hello, and thanks for visiting my profile!

I aim to provide supportive, engaging and effective tuition which will help students make progress whilst developing an interest in English.

As a qualified, experienced English teacher, my subject knowledge and understanding of exams is refined, meaning I can support students confidently. Tuition should be an experience that students look forward to, and so my sessions will supplement their main school education in a personalised way.

I have a recent, valid DBS check. Please don`t hesitate to contact me for information!

Availability: Currently, I can offer week day evenings, with a start time of around 4pm.
Day time slots will become available in July, so please get in touch if you are looking to commence tutoring in the coming months.

Experience: I am a fully qualified, full time English teacher at an excellent secondary school.

I graduated from a good university with a strong degree in English Literature and Language.

I completed my PGCE (teaching training year) as an Outstanding teacher.

I have worked with students aged 11-18, and have specific experience of teaching AQA and Edexcel GCSE boards, but have tutored students taking the OCR and Cambridge IGCSE exams.

I have tutored many students, many of whom have found great success in their GCSEs, including grade 9s in both Literature and Language.
