I am a trained primary school teacher with over 5 years of classroom teaching experience in an Ofsted Outstanding London Primary School. I have just returned from a sabbatical year and now find myself in a position to support children who are currently out of school and in need of extra curricular support.

Experience: I have taught from Reception up to Year 6; I was head of Maths, French and RE in as well as Year 3 Year Group Leader in my last position. As head of maths I was trained in Singapore Maths, an approach to mathematics which takes a from the ground up approach, teaching children a deeper understanding of the patterns and links between numbers rather than learning by rote or memorisation. I have a wealth of experience in the KS1 and KS2 curriculum and am very well versed in how to plan sessions to support, engage and ensure children progress across all subjects. Differentiate tasks to their needs whilst ensuring they are being challenged!
