Information about David
GCSE and A level tutees have had great success. I have many years of experience tutoring after many years` teaching in secondary schools.
I am just as interested in those who need a C grade at GCSE to continue into A level studies - or who are dyslexic - as in those going for top grades and a degree in English..
I charge £50 per hour at the moment. I have passed a CRB check and our first meeting is free.
Availability: Any time at my home or online

Experience: My degree was from Oxford University and I have been a Head of English and Deputy Head. Several former students achieved 1st class degrees in English at Bristol, Oxford and Cambridge

David listens carefully and tailors sessions to my needs. He has a really good knowledge of A level English language syllabus. We have done a few sessions and I am already feeling much more confident about my course. I was a bit nervous about doing sessions over Skype, but this actually works really well. I would recommend David. (Year 13 A level English language)

Very helpful and accommodating, working with us in difficult circumstances to tutor my son through a re-take English Literature GCSE.
Pinpointed key areas for revision and study within a very restricted timescale.
