Hello student! I am glad to meet you. I teach because there is nothing I find more rewarding than cultivating new talent in students. Students love working with me because:
- World-class industry expertise that few academics can match. I have a real-world case study, drawn from my own experience, for every topic that your textbooks or curriculum will bring up.
- Unlimited energy and love for teaching. Dozens of students have told me that I light up the room, that I`m the most encouraging teacher they`ve ever met and that I can make anyone feel excited about studying, even on a Monday morning.
- I spend as much time listening as I do talking because this is all about you. You share your problems and I will find a solution.
- I`m great at reducing anxiety and helping students become confident in their abilities.
Are you having problems with planning a research project, structuring essays and dissertations or finding your way around academic literature and citing it correctly? These are all things I can help with.
I teach at all levels from A-level to PhD.
As well as holding your hand as you progress through your course and assessments, I offer emergency clinics for last-minute deadlines to give your project a shot in the arm. Of course, it is always better to seek help sooner rather than later but there is hope for everyone.

Experience: I have a PhD in psychology and I`ve had a career of well over 20 years in applied psychology and marketing. Formerly Principal Lecturer in Marketing at Regent`s University London where I was personally responsible for over 200 students. I`m the owner of a well-known applied psychology and marketing business that serves brand owners around the world. My commercial experience spans almost every consumer-facing sector. I publish extensively on topics in psychology and marketing and I am a well-known conference speaker.
I`m the author of "Using Semiotics in Marketing: Achieving consumer insight for brand growth and profits", published worldwide by Kogan Page, 2020.

Rachel has helped me with my dissertation in Marketing, in our first meeting we went over both my literature review and methodology, considering my initial anxiety about the dissertation I have left with a very clear understanding of where I need to improve but also what I can do to set myself apart and show my ability within the subject. She was very friendly while offering invaluable insight into both my literature and the literature surrounding the matter. I will undoubtedly return to her in future for advice on coursework and think this will go a long way to help me succeed academically. I really like working with Rachel as she is into any topic I needed a help with, great to share and expand ideas and there is never a time wasting :) I have been having quite a few sessions with her and I know I will have more in the future because with her help it has made my life with assignments and dissertation a little bit less anxious :) Really recommend her!
