I qualified with a Teaching Certificate in 1977, in Maths and Drama. There were few teaching positions at that time so I ended up drifting into computing and I realised that Computer Science was my thing.

I have started two companies, both of which are still thriving, and I left the second one this summer in order to develop Machine Intelligence based systems.

My computing experience is vast: from Assembler on IBM to Python for AI; various RDBMs and persistent data structures; across multiple operating systems through to succesful implementations of machine learning systems in high profile companies.

Availability: I work from home so should be available on short notice.

Experience: I had a little teaching experience before I went to Hopwood Hall and I have taught college evening classes in computing.

I have 40+ years in computing and I am currently building a new business with my children. The system is server side RDBMS based via a REST interface, with Unity/C# code at the front end.

My past experience encompasses multiple operating systems, languages from assembler through C#, web apps, postgresql, MySQL, MS SQLServer, plus nosql and direct access data stores. I have predicate calculus, relational algebra, functional programming and ML/AI experience. I look forward to discussing your requirements.
